Epic is a reading app we use in our classroom. I would describe it as Netflix for books. We use this at school when we have free time or when students finish work early. If you have a reluctant reader, Epic can be helpful in getting them interested in reading but do be aware that there are videos on the app as well and it does cost.
This website allows you to choose the grade level your child is in. You can choose a level based on your childs needs. If you struggle in math start them out on the first grade level and see if they can work their way up to second through the year. If your child is strong on math skills and second grade seems easy for them then have them try third grade games etc.
I use this website in our classroom for math and ELA games. The math games are usually the favorites. They have a variety of categories so your child can work on telling time, money, addition, place value and fractions.
Funbrain.com is a website with free math and reading games.
Reading and math skills
This website has a variety of reading and math games. I have not had a chance to thoroughly look over this part of the website but I use education.com for teaching resources so it is a safe site for kids and free to use. If you ever come across something asking you to sign up or to pay for more levels please let me know.
