I am a born and bred Kansas girl. After graduating from Southeast High School, I attended WSU and received an associates degree as a legal assistant. While working in the law field, I continued my education and received a bachelors degree in elementary education from Friends University. After getting my feet wet in the classroom, I pursued and completed a masters degree in curriculum and instruction from WSU.

I began teaching at St. Mark's in 1995. Hard to believe it has been 20 years! For seven years I taught second grade, then "graduated" to third grade and have been a third grader ever since!
My husband, Marshall, and I have two wonderful sons, Whit and Dakota. Whit is married to a beautiful young woman, Melissa. They have given us two beautiful grandchildren, Eli and Ellie. Dakota recently married a remarkable young lady, Kelsey. They reside in Wichita. Dakota works in IT, and Kelsey works as a physical therapist.
I enjoy the outdoors. During the summer, I putter in my flower beds and around my yard, then enjoy a dip in the pool! Reading is another one of my passions. I love hanging out with family and friends, and of course, spending time with my grandkids!
